​​SweatFIT Club is a Small Group Personal Training studio that offers a complete fitness program that balances cardio, strength/resistance, and nutrition. Classes are small which allow our trainers ample time to personally help you to maximize your workout in a fun, effective group setting. Choose your FIRST class and let's get stared!

​Sweat!

This is a SweatFIT Signature class, designed to get your heart pumping and a good healthy sweat going. The format will change each class, but every class will work on cardio endurance and stamina and sprinkle in a core workout. This class will have boxing, HIIT, tabata circuits, resistance sprints and pulls, small group cardio bursts and lot's of team motivation. We will utilize body weight, kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, TRX®, Rip Trainer®, bales, agility boxes, Terra-Core® and much more. BodyShred™ and Insanity® formats are used on Sweat days! Never the same workout twice!

FIT!

This is a SweatFIT Signature class, designed to work your muscles through progressions that will not only build lean muscle but increase your range of motion, muscle strength and endurance. We will focus on Functional Integrated Training on our FIT! days. This class will use kettlebells, TRX®, Rip Trainer®, body weight, dumb bells, pull up/chin up, resistance bands, medicine balls, Terra-Core® and much, much more. Never the same workout twice!

Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. BARRE Intensity® 

Located in Urbandale, also serving West Des Moines, Johnston, Waukee, Grimes, Greater Des Moines, Ankeny, & More
The class combines attributes of Pilates, dance, and functional fitness training.  We incorporate small isolated movement to fatigue the muscles, large range of motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates upper and lower body to make every minute count.  This results in a total body workout that leaves you mentally strong and feeling accomplished.  Upbeat instructors and music provide the fuel needed for not only an intense workout but a fun one!

The Stretch!

This is not a yoga class! The Stretch will focus on gentle stretches emphasizing the basic, rudimentary form of the Lastics Stretch technique and The Mattes Method. This class moves at a slower pace and teaches you how to control the parts of your body that will generate the most effective stretch. This class is perfect for people who are healing from an injury, conditioning for a sport, training for dance, gymnastics, skating, etc..., looking for pain relief, advancing a yoga or Pilates practice or just plain interested in being more flexible. All fitness levels are welcome.

Roll With It! Foam Roller Class

Join us for the ultimate full body ReHab, foam rolling and restorative stretching. The roller has had many nicknames including "roller of death", "torture machine", "devil roller", and many other pet names.  We are hoping you fall a little more in love with your roller when you see the diversity it can bring to your workout program.  We will spend out time showing you how to use your full size foam roller (6x36) to relieve aches and pains, stretch out your body, and strengthen your core. Please bring a full size roller, a mat, water, and comfortable clothes to this one of a kind class. Room will be heated to 85 degrees. Suitable for all fitness levels.

SilverFIT60+! Fitness program for 60+ years of age

FIT60+!
Teaches our clients to use their whole body. Using tools like the TRX suspension trainer allows older adults to keep their independence longer. The suspension trainer requires you to use your body the way it was intended to be used by functional movement and functional training. It gives our SweatFIT Coaches a resistance tool to improve muscle strength, functional balance and flexibility in older adults. Carrying a bag of groceries requires balance, stability and strength. Using our suspension straps they’ll see greater return and be more independent in the long term. 

Strength60+
We will focus on exercises that will help you become stronger with everyday tasks that you are doing, carrying groceries, pulling grand kids in the wagon and lots of gardening. We will use dumbbells, light plates, resistance bands and balls. 

Stretching60+
Gentle stretching class designed to help increase participants range of motion and flexibility. This class utilizes the following stretching techniques: Lastics (NYC) and Mattes Method.

SweatFIT Run Club - Couch to 5K! (Offered April - October)

​Join us at SweatFIT for a 7-week, Couch to 5K group training program. No running experience is necessary, just a pair of good running shoes. We will start at the beginning and work up to a 5K during the program.
The program is designed to get you running for 30+ minutes without stopping by the end of the session. At the end of the program, we will all run a sponsored 5K together. Your registration fee for the 5K will be covered in the registration fee for this group training program.  You will also receive a coveted SweatFIT Run Club t-shirt!
This is a group training program where you will not only get support from your coach, but you will also have the support of the other runners in this program that are working toward the same goal. We will meet as a group 3 times per week for 45 minutes each. Saturday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday evenings. You will also be given “homework” to complete on Sundays or Mondays that will take no longer than 45 minutes. Our training sessions will be outside and will utilize some of the amazing trails that we have in the area around our studio.
